I Didn’t Quit… but I Disappeared for a Minute

Hi friends,

So… I kind of disappeared for a minute there. (Doesn’t everyone hibernate for the winter?)

I was trying to build something big while raising four kids… and realized pretty quickly I can’t do everything.

Turns out… launching a brand is not for the weak.

The last few months have been a mix of clarity and “what am I even doing right now.” I dropped a few balls. I picked back up the ones that mattered most.

I had some help lined up that I was really excited about… and then I found myself right back figuring it out on my own again.

But that didn’t stop me.

I’ve been showing up behind the scenes every day—figuring it out, adjusting, getting more realistic about what one mom of four building something from scratch can actually do.

And spoiler: it’s still a lot. Just not everything all at once.

Now for a win (because we celebrate those around here):

The My Bads companion class is HERE.

If you already have a copy of My Bads and it’s been sitting half-used (no judgment), this is exactly what I made this for.

It walks kids through the journal step-by-step so they don’t just start strong… they actually stick with it and grow from it.

For my Glow crew:

Get $60 off my class "My Bads: Turning Mistakes into Growth (Self-Paced)"Use code and chose pay upfront for full discount: GRIFFGLOW50OFF60 (expires May 31, 2026)

I’ve also been showing up more on socials, sharing the real, the messy, and the stuff that actually helps.

And one more thing I’ve been building behind the scenes…

I’m creating a space I’m calling the Glow Room.

It’s where I’ll be putting free tools, printables, and simple things you can actually use with your kids—stuff that helps them handle mistakes, build confidence, and grow in real life.

Not perfect. Not fancy. Just useful.

It’s not fully ready yet, but when it is—you’ll be the first to get access.

Because if you’ve been here from the beginning, I take care of my people.

Here’s what I’m working on next:

  • My second journal called "My Grit"  (I’m really excited about this one)

  • A course on friendship skills that go beyond just being nice calls "Be a Magnet"

  • Finding the right support so I can actually grow this the way I know it can grow

I’m not going anywhere.

This might not be the fastest journey… but it’s a real one. And I care way too much about this work (and your kids) to quit on it.

Thank you for being here—from the beginning or somewhere along the way.

That matters more than you probably realize.

And if you’ve ever thought, “more kids need this kind of support”…I’d love a small favor. If someone came to mind while you were reading this—another parent, a friend, someone who could use this with their kid—would you share my socials or website with them?

It’s one of the biggest ways people find me. And honestly… it’s the best kind of “I got you.”

Stay bright,

Karla
